This event poster was created for 906 Cocktail and Cigar Lounge, a high end venue located in downtown Fort Smith, Arkansas. The concept centers around a dynamic typographic layout where a microphone cord twists and flows into the event title itself, capturing the energy of a live performance setting.
Due to the constraints of Riso printing, the design was limited to a very specific color palette. The final print features a bold yellow background, which not only aligns with the print method’s aesthetic but also draws immediate attention and adds a warm, vibrant tone to the overall composition. The limited palette challenged me to focus on strong contrast, negative space, and thoughtful linework to make the piece legible and engaging. This project balances creative expression with print production limitations, resulting in a visually striking, ready to print design.
